OneGuy is a Bengaluru-based referral platform that turns trusted business introductions into trackable opportunities. Connectors introduce businesses that need professional services, while direct clients can submit their own requirement and receive a Project Blueprint before deciding whether to proceed.
A Connector introduces a person or business with a genuine requirement. The client confirms the introduction, OneGuy handles qualification and delivery, and the Connector receives a reward when the project successfully closes.
Yes. Joining as a Connector is completely free. There are no membership fees, hidden charges, or lock-in contracts.
No. You do not need any technical background or sales experience. Your role is simply to make the introduction. OneGuy handles all technical discussions and project work.
Anyone can become a Connector — students, freelancers, working professionals, business owners, designers, marketers, or existing clients. If you know someone with a genuine digital requirement, you qualify.
No. You must only refer people who are genuinely aware that you intend to introduce them to OneGuy. Submitting contact information without the person's knowledge violates our Referral Policy and may result in your account being reviewed.
You will receive a confirmation link. Share this link directly with the client via WhatsApp or any other channel. The client opens the link and confirms they are interested. Only after confirmation does OneGuy reach out.
No. Your job is to make the introduction, not to sell. You can simply tell the client that you've heard of them needing something built and that you'd like to introduce them to a team that handles such projects.
The first verified referral takes ownership. If a client confirms interest via your referral link first, your referral holds attribution for the ownership period (typically 90 days). Duplicate submissions are flagged and reviewed.
Yes. Every referral has a dedicated detail page in your dashboard. You can see the current status, expected timeline, and reward at every stage.
Self-referrals are flagged and require admin review before processing. The intent behind OneGuy is warm third-party introductions — not self-referrals for discounts.
You earn when the project successfully closes and the reward is formally approved. This happens after OneGuy receives payment from the client and confirms the project completion.
No reward is paid for deals that do not close. If a deal is lost, you will be notified and the status will be updated in your dashboard.
OneGuy manually processes reward payments. You will need to have valid payment details on file. Payment is made via UPI, bank transfer, or another agreed method.
Rewards are based on the final project value. See the Rewards page for the current slabs. For larger projects, a custom reward may be offered.
Yes. You can submit your own project requirement and receive a free Project Blueprint. OneGuy works across service categories including technology & software, media & video, event management, CA, accounting & compliance, and travel & experiences.
A Project Blueprint is a free planning document that outlines the recommended scope, key features, estimated timeline and investment range before you decide whether to proceed with development.
Yes. The Project Blueprint is completely free. There is no obligation to proceed with development after receiving it.
Website costs vary based on scope and features. A professional business website in India typically costs between ₹40,000 and ₹2,00,000. A Project Blueprint provides a tailored estimate for your specific requirement.
Timelines depend on the project scope. A standard business website takes 3 to 6 weeks. Complex web applications can take 3 to 6 months. Your Project Blueprint will include a realistic timeline estimate.
You can raise a query directly from the referral detail page in your dashboard. Select "Status looks incorrect" and describe your concern. The OneGuy team will review and respond.
